From the East/West - Take I-94 to exit 139 (Cooper St.) - turn (south) on Cooper St. - Veer to the right on Francis St. (second traffic light). Turn right (west) at Ganson St. (1st traffic light) - turn left (south) on N. Jackson St. (first traffic light) - continue south to the 7th traffic light (The courthouse is located on the northwest corner of S. Jackson & Wesley Street)

From the North - Take US-127 to I-94 East (Detroit Exit) - Take I-94 to exit 139 (Cooper St.) - turn (south) on Cooper St. - Veer to the right on Francis St. (second traffic light) - Turn right (west) at Ganson St. (1st traffic light)  - turn left (south) on N. Jackson St. (first traffic light) - continue south to the 7th traffic light (The courthouse is located on the northwest corner of S. Jackson & Wesley Street) 

From the South - Take US-127 to the Michigan Avenue Exit - Turn left (west) and continue on Michigan Avenue. Michigan Avenue will turn into Louis Glick Highway (near the Train Station) - continue on Louis Glick Hwy and Turn Left (South) on N. Jackson St. - continue south to the 5th traffic light (The courthouse is located on the northwest corner of S. Jackson & Wesley Street) 

DIRECTIONS TO THE COURTHOUSE FOR CMV DRIVERS

From I-94:

Take Cooper Street Exit, #139, and head south.  Follow Cooper Street through five traffic lights, at North St., Francis St., Ganson St., Michigan Ave., and Washington respectively.  This will take you on the outskirts of downtown Jackson.  After the fifth traffic light at Washington Ave., turn right onto Franklin Street.  The third stop sign is on the corner of Franklin Street & South Jackson Street.  If you look to your right, you’ll see the Courthouse on the corner of South Jackson Street & Wesley Street, which is one block to the north of Franklin Street.

From US-127:

Follow US-127 north or south, as the case may be, to I-94.  If coming from the north, take I-94 East.  If coming from the south, take I-94 West.  Follow the above instructions once you’re on I-94.

Parking is usually on the street.  If, however, you are unable to locate a spot on the street, you may proceed through the stop sign at Franklin St. & South Jackson St. and follow Franklin Street to the next stop sign at Blackstone Street.  There is a parking lot on the corner of Franklin Street and Blackstone Street, which is reserved for Courthouse personnel.  You may park your vehicle in this lot while you conduct your business.
