Rationale and Purpose for this Order:
To assign to the district court all civil infractions committed by juveniles
The
circuit court waives jurisdiction over all civil infractions alleged to have
been committed by juveniles within the geographic jurisdiction of the
district court.
Upon
execution of this agreement, the district court has jurisdiction over the
juvenile in the same manner as if an adult had committed the civil
infraction.
The
assessment and distribution of fines and costs shall be as if an adult had
committed the civil infraction.

Copies
of this administrative order shall be
provided to all affected law enforcement agencies.
Any modifications are subject to approval by the State Court
Administrative Office.
